The Rheinisches Landesmuseum next to the palace gardens holds one of the most significant collections of Roman finds north of the Alps. Highlights include the Neumagen ship, the famous Neumagen wine ship tomb relief, vast mosaic floors, and the gold coin hoard discovered in 1993.
